Biography

Mr. Baker is the founder of The Baker Law Group. He focuses his practice in the areas of corporate law, civil litigation and criminal defense, particularly OVI/DUI defense.

Mr. Baker graduated with honors from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During his college tenure, Mr. Baker was a member of the Ohio State Crew Team and active participant in student organizations including the American Marketing Association.

Mr. Baker graduated with honors from Capital University Law School. During his tenure at Capital, Mr. Baker participated in a study abroad program in Skopolos, Greece focusing on international business issues.  Mr. Baker graduated a member of the Order of the Curia, recognizing outstanding academic achievement.

Mr. Baker is currently a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Clermont County Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association. He is a member of Ohio State Bar Association's Commercial Committee and Criminal Justice Committee. Mr. Baker has lectured as a staff lecturer at Driver Intervention Programs around Columbus educating participants on OVI/DUI related matters. 

Mr. Baker serves as secretary and treasurer of KOCC, Inc. (Knock Out Crohn's & Colitis), a non-profit charitable corporation raising funds and awareness for Crohn's Disease and Colitis research and a participant in Estate Planning for First Responders, which prepares pro bono wills and powers of attorney for local police and firefighters.

Mr. Baker is admitted to the Ohio bar and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio.
